    NOTICE – THE RICHMOND COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM TO HOLD PUBLIC BUDGET MEETINGS

    Pursuant to Georgia law, the County Board of Education of Richmond County hereby informs all Richmond County residents of the following FY 2025 Board of Education budget meeting dates which will be held in the School System’s board room, 864 Broad Street, Augusta, GA.  Time will be made available for public input at the two public hearing meetings.

     

    In addition, the budgets are available on the School System’s website: Financial Statements.  

     

    • May 14, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. –  Initial Budget Presentation, Adoption of Tentative Budget
    • May 21, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. – 1st Public Hearing on Budget
    • May 29, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. – 2nd Public Hearing on Budget
    • June 18, 2024, at  At the Regular Board Meeting – Adoption of the Final Budget
