This month we celebrate Black History Month to pay tribute to the generations of African Americans who struggled with adversity to achieve full citizenship in American society. To kick off our celebrations, we will be hosting a Spirit Week starting next week, where each day will have a selected theme. What's unique about this Spirit Week is that we will extend the daily themes throughout the entire month of February to honor and celebrate Black history, culture, and achievements. We encourage all students and staff to participate in dressing according to the daily themes as a way to show our support and appreciation for Black history and culture. Let's come together to celebrate the richness and diversity of Black heritage throughout the month of February.
