    Biography

Throughout my adult life as of now, I have been a residential/commercial/industrial contractor, the owner of a mechanic shop and master automotive technician, and a surgical technician - having done over 1500 successful surgical procedures. I have numerous degrees, I have an Associates in Nursing, an Associates in Business Management, an Associates in Surgical Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Studies with focuses in Education, Special Education, Digital Editing, Criminal Law, and Social Sciences. I am originally from Illinois but, I have lived in the Augusta area for the last 23 years. I love anything Cars, Science, Space, and most of all - my Family!
My goal as a teacher is to stimulate students minds and be a big part of the reason that they go to college or leave my classroom not only more knowledgeable, but as a better person than they came in.

Respect is paramount, not only to a safe learning environment, but life in general. If I can teach my students to respect eachother and themselves, I will have taught them a life skill that they can utilize throughout their lives, both professionally and socially. The acceptance of every persons differences paired with knowledge and respect of the fact that we are all different people with one goal in common, to live without fear or judgement of our individuality is integral to the advancement and evolution of our society. We as adults, parents and teachers alike, are tasked as role models to help our children to develop into respectful and outstanding citizens of the future.
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

  • "We may not look the same, we may not dress the same, we may not even talk the same, but we are all made of the same stuff. We do not have to agree on or even like the same things, but that is what makes us special. We all have the right to be who we are. Without our individuality, the universe would be a pretty boring place!"
