Hello and welcome to your math class.  I am an HBCU graduate of the great Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL.  Although I am a Florida native, I lived and worked in the Atlanta Metro area for 13 years.  This is my fifth year teaching in Augusta and I am looking forward to an exciting first year with you all.  I am a highly qualified and certified secondary mathematics and middle grades science instructor. 

Before joining the team at Lucy C. Laney High School, I taught at W.S. Hornsby Middle, Richmond Hill K-8 School, as well as in Clayton and Fulton Counties.  During my tenure, I have taught 6th-grade earth science, 6th-grade math, 7th-grade math, 8th-grade physical science, 8th-grade math, and Algebra 1.  

To my parents and guardians, I am your partner in educating your children.  I enjoy teaching math and seeing your child's face light up when it clicks and my only goal is to see them succeed and reach their full potential.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.  To my students, 鈥婭 look forward to getting to know each of you and being a part of your story.  Let us have a fantastic 2024-2025 school year!
