First grade is a year of incredible learning which will serve as the foundation of future learning for your child.
I’d like to tell you a little about myself. My name is Michelette Green and I grew up right here in Augusta. I am married and have two children. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with an education concentration and a Masters of Art in Teaching. I hold certifications to teach kindergarten through fifth grade. I love teaching and believe in lifelong learning.
Research has proven that when parents and teachers work together, everyone benefits. It is important to me to work together with you to support your child’s learning. I hope to make you feel comfortable enough to voice your comments, questions, and concerns at any time. I will try my best to keep you informed of what is happening in the classroom. My classroom door is always open!
