Asynchronous PE Lesson – September 27, 2024
Coach Holmes’ At-樱花动漫 Fitness Challenge
Objective:
Stay active at home by completing a series of fun exercises that help improve strength, endurance, and flexibility.
Warm-Up (5 minutes):
- Jog in place – 2 minutes
- Arm circles – 10 forward, 10 backward
- High knees – 1 minute
- Toe touches – Reach for your toes and hold for 10 seconds, repeat 3 times
Main Activity (20 minutes):
Complete the following exercises in 2 rounds:
- Jumping Jacks – 20 repetitions
- Bodyweight Squats – 15 repetitions
- Mountain Climbers – 20 repetitions (10 per leg)
- Push-Ups – 10 repetitions (modify by using knees if necessary)
- Plank Hold – Hold for 20 seconds
Take a 1-minute rest between rounds.
Cool-Down (5 minutes):
- Butterfly Stretch – Sit down, put feet together, and stretch out your legs. Hold for 15 seconds.
- Reach for the Sky – Stand up and stretch your arms as high as you can. Hold for 15 seconds.
- Child’s Pose – Kneel on the floor, stretch your arms out in front of you, and lean back. Hold for 15 seconds.
Challenge (Optional):
Create your own 3-minute dance routine using your favorite moves.

- How did you feel after completing the workout?
- Why is it important to stay active, even when you're at home?
