Bienvenidos a la clase de Espanol!

WELCOME TO SPANISH CLASS!

Hello, my name is Romy Weinstein Diaz. I am originally from Colombia, South America. I'm married to my husband, Gregory, and we have a daughter, Isabella (11 years old). We also have two dogs: a Chihuahua (Peaches) and a Goldendoodle (Valentino). I enjoy spending time with my family, and getting to know new places, both around the country and abroad.

I went to college to become a teacher in foreign languages, and I have a Master's degree in Technology in Education. I have taught Spanish at the middle and high school levels in the United States for several years. I have really enjoyed and learned a lot from this experience, and I continue to enrich my teaching skills each school year. I have also had the opportunity to teach in other countries, providing me with a better understanding of student diversity and individual learning needs. 

I will be teaching Spanish 1,2, 3 and 4. In this class the students will always be challenged to use higher levels of thinking, and will develop their comunication, listening, writing and comprehnesion skills through intrinsic and extrincis learning strategies.
