Mrs. Weaver

Hey! I'm Mrs. Weaver and this page will give you a brief synopsis of who I am and what I believe as a teacher. This is my fourth year teaching, and I am looking forward to growing alongside your children. Being a special education teacher means I get to team up with parents to advocate for students with disabilities inside the school building. I have the privilege of creating engaging, achievable lessons each week to enrich the minds of students.

I graduated from Georgia College & State University (Go Bobcats!). I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education. In my program, I was able to serve students of all abilities, at all age levels, from primary to high school. I spent time in inclusion classrooms, resource settings, and self-contained learning environments.

I am pleased to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! I am looking forward to having your child as a student. My most important goal is to create a family of learners in my classroom to have a fun year. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our family of learners. To accomplish this, I have planned a variety of activities to emphasize and reinforce this goal. I hope that you will support and encourage this vision at home.
