Coach Casanova is the head coach for our lady Mavericks basketball team. Before coming to Murphey, she was an assistant coach for the girls basketball team at Langford Middle School.
She played basketball at Cross Creek and Grovetown High School where she lettered Varsity all four years. During high school, she also played AAU for the Georgia Sting Red.
Coach Casanova earned her bachelor’s degree from Albany State University. She is excited to be at MMS and help the girls achieve their goals this season!
"An athlete′s character is more important than their talent." Her goal is to create well-rounded players on the court, as well as in the community and classroom. She strives to enhance the talents of her players, while developing their leadership skills, self-discipline, and work ethic.
