7th Grade Life Science

My name is Delois Scott, I am a native of Augusta, Ga. I am a mother of a beautiful daughter name T’Kieah who recently finished high school and is now attend college. I am PROUD 3x Breast Cancer Survivor who graduate from The Pride of Augusta Lucy C. Laney High School gooooo Wildcats. I furthered my education at Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina in which I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree Biology with a minor in Chemistry.

I started at Grand Canyon University in January 2021 and received my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education with an Emphasis in STEM/STEAM November 30, 2022. This is my 5 year as an educator in the Richmond County School System as a 7^th grade Life Science Teacher engaging and promoting career advancement towards Engineering. I tell my students on a daily basis to be a leader not a follower so they can all be successful in everything they do. I bring passion for teaching the subjects, good communication, good organization skills, beauty, creativity, critical thinking, patience, family support, compassion, individuality, and energy to my classroom with alot of hands on activities!!
