Hello, my name is Vanessa Ferguson.  I am a graduate of Washburn University where I received my Bachelor's in Education.  I have been a teacher for 18 years and a Copeland Wildcat for 12 years.  Previously I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and I have been an Interventionist teacher for six years.  I love my position as an Interventionist.  I get to work with small groups of 4th & 5th graders in reading and math.  It is a blessing for me to work with children each day.

I have three wonderful children.  My oldest son is 21. My daughter is 18, she is a freshman at the University Of Alabama, and my youngest son is 13 years old and is in the 8h grade.  My favorite hobbies include reading and watching movies.  I also love to watch d.i.y. instructional videos.

I love being a part of the Wildcat family. There's no other place I'd rather teach at! As Wildcats, we are global learners and we show Excellence Everyday!
