I look forward to working with students, parents, and stakeholders to expand the wonderful educational opportunities that are already available at Davidson Fine Arts.

I began my teaching career in 2008 as a high school English Language Arts teacher in my hometown of Danville, Illinois. I became interested in Adolescent Comprehension and decided to pursue a Ph.D. in Reading Education at Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!). At Auburn, I taught in the College of Education for three years and researched for several professors in various programs.  After graduating from Auburn, I spent several years working in Higher Education and researching Adolescent Comprehension and technology integration, but my practitioner's heart called me back to secondary education.

I am excited and grateful to join the administration team at Davidson. I look forward to working with the parents, faculty, staff, and students.
