Welcome to the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) at Tutt Middle School!!!
This 2024-2025 school year,Tutt will begin to infuse the Middle Years Programme framework into the culture, climate and academic structures of its programming in teaching, learning and service, using the Georgia Standards of Excellence as the cornerstone of instruction.
I am excited to be working with and supporting the students, teachers and staff, as we embark on our IB MYP journey. There are ten IB MYP Learner profile qualities/attributes that represent the IB mission in action. As IB learners, we strive to be: Thinkers, Risk-takers, Knowledgeable, Caring, Communicators, Balanced, Inquirers, Open-minded, Principled and Reflective.
At John M. Tutt Middle School, we strive to cultivate globally-minded students through innovative teaching, collaborative learning, and a commitment to nurturing intellectual curiosity, compassion and respect, empowering them to excel academically and personally while fostering a positive impact on their communities and the world.
The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme is a student-centered, inquiry-based framework that teaches students how they learn by using real-world connections through their learning experiences in an ever-changing culturally diverse society.
