I am delighted at the opportunity to serve as Administrator for Marion E. Barnes Career Center. It is with great honor to serve the students, parents and all stakeholders within this district and community. I find great responsibility, that I do not take lightly, to continue the rich legacy that this program and our namesake has laid.
With over twenty years in the profession, I have proven my commitment to the teaching and learning of all students. I was born in Augusta, Georgia, reared and proudly serve in the Richmond County School System. I am vested in the progress of our students and this community. At the Marion E. Barnes Career Center, our mission is to train students with the skills that will empower them to obtain gainful employment through real world experiences and community partnerships. Our faculty and staff bring industry expertise to the classroom that better prepares our students for the world of work.
I strongly believe that educating our students is a collaborative effort between parents, teachers and our community. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure the success of our students.
