Who takes it?Students who have applied for one of our magnet schools or specialized programs
When/How frequently it is taken? There are two administrations of the test during our early application period, which fall on the last Wednesday and Saturday of January each year (families are able to choose the best date, time, and location that work best for their schedule). We offer an additional opportunity to test in the spring and that test is held in May each year (date may change each year depending on the school calendar).
How is it administered?
It is administered using computer-adaptive tests that are given online and are intuitive. Each student gets a personalized testing experience that can gauge whether the student is performing at, above, or below grade level in reading and math.
