      Geometry Syllabus

Geometry is a branch of mathematics that focuses on the study of shapes, sizes, and the properties of space. It involves understanding and analyzing various figures like points, lines, angles, surfaces, and solids.

In geometry, you'll explore concepts like:

      • Points: The most basic unit in geometry, representing a specific location in space.
      • Lines: Straight, one-dimensional figures that extend infinitely in both directions.
      • Angles: Formed by two rays (or line segments) that share a common endpoint.
      • Shapes: Includes various two-dimensional (like triangles, squares, and circles) and three-dimensional figures (like cubes, spheres, and pyramids).
      • Properties and Relationships: How different shapes relate to each other, including concepts like congruence (when shapes are the same size and shape), similarity (same shape but different sizes), and symmetry.

Geometry is used in various fields, from art and design to engineering and architecture, helping us understand and describe the physical world around us.
