This is my nineteenth year of teaching.  I have taught kindergarten, third grade, fifth grade, and now gifted education throughout my teaching career.

I earned my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Augusta State University in 2006, my Master of Education degree from Southern Wesleyan University in 2008, and my Education Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning with Reading Endorsement from Augusta State University in 2010. Lastly, I earned my Gifted Endorsement certification in 2019. 

I have been married to my husband, Ben, for over 20 years.  We have two boys, Caden and Brycen.  I love spending time outdoors with my family and friends.  I enjoy reading, jogging, and swimming!  One of my favorite books is The Help.  I also love reading biographies and about historical events!  We enjoy watching Georgia Bulldog games and Braves games!
