The 24-25 school year will be my 25th year of teaching, and I am looking forward to many more years educating students.  I am a product of Richmond County. All of my elementary, middle  and high school years have been in this system.  I have earned two Bachelors, a Masters and a Specialist degree at Augusta University. My educational studies have centered around English, History and the Social Sciences.  One of the subjects I teach is about the United States Government.  We have a unique nation with a constitution that allows us to grow as a nation and work to live up to the ideals included in the document.  Our lives are not pre-determined by set cultural rules.  We have a choice to grow and develop into the people we would like to be in our society.  Education is free and guaranteed for us up till the 12th grade. I am a life-long learner with a passion to help our children work to become the very best student they can and be focused on how they will become a productive member of our society with goals to work toward.  My motto comes from the words of Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
