Mr. Adam Kowalczyk
I graduated from Capital University with my Bachelors in Health and Physical Education, PK-12th grade. I am from Ohio but moved with my wife 'down south' and currently live in North Augusta. I have a passion for teaching and coaching, and pride myself on pushing kids so they can realize their potential and help them to achieve athletic, academic and personal goals. I love helping people and, although I can be tough, I care for every single student I come in contact with. I love having a classroom where students learn a great deal but also have fun. I use technology a lot and incorporate activities and games into my curriculum on a regular basis. I am married to my wife Leslie and we have one child, our daughter Adina.
I served in the U.S. Marine Corps and have played various sports in my past. I played rugby for the Marines for 4 years and have played 12 years total. I currently compete naturally in bodybuilding and powerlifting. I enjoy being healthy and working out and teaching my students that being healthy can be fun and rewarding.
Currently I am the athletic director here at Davidson as well as coaching track, flag football, and volleyball.
