    Building a globally competitive school system that educates the whole child through teaching, learning, collaboration, and innovation.

     

    Vision

    The Richmond County School System (樱花动漫) will provide an equitable education for all students to prepare them for life beyond the classroom.

     

    Beliefs

    • Every person can learn and has the right to a quality education.
    • Students thrive in a positive climate and culture where they are respected and all ideas are accepted.
    • Effective communication is the key to understanding among people.
    • Excellence in education is a collaborative effort and shared responsibility of the individual, home, school, and community.

     

Purpose and Role of Accountability

  • The Accountability Department:

    • ensures understanding and compliance with Federal and State Accountability requirements.
    • supports schools and departments with reviewing and monitoring data as part of the continuous improvement process.
    • assists with the strategic planning process along with entities such as Cognia.
    • supports the system accreditation process.
    • monitors school council member training and meetings for all schools.
    • provides a data dashboard which includes standardized test scores, demographics, and other pertinent information.
    • reviews and applies for waivers when needed.
