          I was born in N.Y.C.

 I am married  an have two grown children. I am a grandmother of six.

I attended Florida Memorial College for my Undergraduate degree and Florida International University for my Masters in education. 

Both institutions are located in Miami, Florida. This is my twenty-sixth year of teaching.

As a young child I always played school and taught young kids how to read.I would use the book by Dr. Suess "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish."

I really enjoyed this and I knew deep inside this was my calling. Just watching my students blossom is extremely gratifying.
