My name is Ms. Shanna Johnson. I am a native of New Orleans, La. My music education background extends from four years at Southern University. During my senior graduating semester, I was displaced by hurricane Katrina and went on to Augusta State University to finish my Bachelor's degree in Music Education. I have also attained a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught music for 16 years and I have been at Lucy C. Laney for 6 of those 16 years. Music is my passion! You may listen to your favorite musicians, but I teach mine.
